They are now looking for a highly organised and process driven Graphic Designer with experience designing for apparel to lead a growing team.
Working closely with the Product Brand Manager, this role offers genuine variety to use your skills to develop a diverse range of designs across the apparel category including homewares, accessories and leisure, adhering to brand guidelines.
While you will also have the opportunity to assist in product development and ensure you are across current fashions and trends, this is NOT a fashion focussed role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conceptualising visuals for a wide range of licensed apparel from brief to final art
- Maintaining stake holder relationships to develop exciting and engaging work
- Develop designs for use on a extensive portfolio of apparel from socks to nightwear to hoodies and more
- Assist with presentations, pitch documents and ideation
- Lead and mentor a small team
- Tertiary level education in Graphic Design, Garment Construction or similar
- Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills, particularly Illustrator
- Minimum 5 years experience
- An interest in retail apparel trends
- Experience in licensing products an advantage
- Ability to prioritise your work and meet critical deadlines
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to problem solve
- Solid knowledge of producing artwork for print, stitching and sublimation
- A positive and motivated approach to your work
- Due to the location, you MUST have your own transport
