Our client is a successful and established importing company, who place a strong emphasis on maintaining their high performing, inclusive and positive culture. They are now seeking a customer service focussed dispatch coordinator to help coordinate their warehouse activities.
  
Working in a small team, your day to day activities will be varied, involving office based tasks as well as supporting the warehouse team.
  
Responsibilities include:
  • Managing transport activities including resolving customer enquiries
  • Processing relevant documentation to service standards
  • Organising the distribution of orders to various destinations
  • Management of data entry
  • Processing of procedures such as credit notes
  • Respond to customer and supplier enquires
  • Complaints management and communication with suppliers/managers
  • Coordination with the warehouse team to ensure timely deliveries
The ideal person will have:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in customer service and administration
  • Experience raising and processing invoices
  • Excellent customer service and strong interpersonal skills
  • Good problem solving ability, able to investigate/troubleshoot issues
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Self motivation and the ability to work under pressure
  • Commitment and a desire to contribute in a team environment
This is a permanent, full time role that would suit someone who is outgoing and enjoys building a rapport with customers. Computer literacy is essential while previous warehouse experience is a distinct advantage.
